Young: What did I do today? Let's see, I did laundry, watched some episodes of LOST on DVD, and, oh yeah... I became an ordained minister.

One of Young's friends is getting married, and wants Young to officiate over the ceremony. After some extensive on-line research (about ten minutes) he registered with the Universal Life Church, printed out his credentials and he's good to go.

(The process didn't need to take a full ten minutes, but the Universal Life Church website is full of amusing typos, like, due to a missing comma, explaining that you'll be able to perform, "wedding verses for the sick and dying.")

Comments:
What the hell are those objects on Young's night table? I see a tape measure, a crucifix, and a set of leather coasters.

weddings weddings weddings. married people don't know what they're missing.

Tell Young to make sure the city/state where he'll perform the wedding recognizes the ULC. Zach ended up having to get ordained by two separate online, um, "churches" to perform ours. The Church of Spiritual Humanism is the one we ended up being able to use.

And in case you don't read this before, I'll tell you this again tomorrow when I talk to your blue-faced self on the phone.
