Drove into Hometown, Ohio, tonight, a couple days early for Thanksgiving. When I arrived everyone was out at a basketball game. So it was just Holden and I.

Holden has been sneaking up onto the couch and chairs at night, so Mom and Dad have started leaving bar stools on them to keep him off.

We are mastered by our pets...this is proof of that. And yet we love them - lessons in unconditional love abound. --VM--

My folks used to do that to keep me off the furniture, I'm still uncomfortable on a sofa.

"they" have pressure sensitive couch cushions that zap your dog in the collar when he jumps up your furniture. i saw it in a sky mall catalog once. it was listed beside a hotdog cooker than looks like a toaster, but instead of toast slots there are holes in which you drop your wieners and buns. I don't have time or energy to cook my hotdogs the hard way, with boiling water or in the micro, so I bought it for only $79.99 with S&H. as for the furniture, i like the use of barstools better.

That is so ironic, because if I got on the furniture I was threatened with use of the "wiener-cooker." small world, am I right?

we're practically kin! lucky you.
