Upon waking up, my first action of the new year was to accidently immolate a cup of instant noodles in the microwave. It's possible it wasn't my fault. I feel like I punched in the right amount of time (3:00 min), but the fact remains that there was acrid smoke pouring out of the microwave and the styrofoam cup had disappeared, leaving behind a blackened chunk of noodles and a paper lid.
A brand new year. The same old dumb mistakes.

I'm a friend of Lauren & B's and found your blog through a link. I, too, spent some time reading your blog last night. For what it's worth, I feel a little guilty because I don't even know you. I guess that's what blogs are all about. Anyway, hope this new year brings you lots of good things.
that pea was the sole survivor. i wonder how it escaped the grisly fate of its fellows. or was it somehow involved in this "mishap"?
